ऐसा जानवर अपने कभी नहीं देखा होगा जिसका नाम है बिज्जू

 

बिज्जू (अंग्रेज़ी: Honey badger) एक स्तनधारी जानवर है जो भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप, दक्षिणपश्चिमी एशिया और अफ़्रीका में मिलता है। यह एक मांसाहारी प्राणी है। अपने लड़ाके स्वभाव और मोटी चमड़ी के कारण अन्य जानवर इस से दूर ही रहते हैं और अन्य खूँखार प्राणी भी इसपर हमला कम ही करते हैं।

Honey badger is a mammalian animal found in the Indian subcontinent, southwestern Asia and Africa. It is a carnivorous creature. Because of its fighter nature and thick skin, other animals remain away from it and other vicious creatures also reduce the attack on it.

भारत में बिज्जू सर्वत्र मिलता है। उत्तरी भारत के तालाबों और नदियों के कगारों में 25-30 फुट लंबी माँद बनाकर रहता है। इसके शरीर का ऊपरी भाग भूरा, बगल और पेट काला तथा माथे पर चौड़ी सफेद धारी होती है। हर पैर पर पाँच मजबूत नख होते हैं जो माँद खोदने के काम आते हैं। यह अगले पैर से माँद खोदता जाता है और पिछले पैरों से मिट्टी दूर फेंकता जाता है। यह अपने पुष्ट नखों से कब्र खोदकर मुर्दा खा लेता है। बिज्जू आलसी होता है और मंद गति से चलता है। यह सर्वभक्षी है। फल मूल से लेकर कीट पतंग तक इसके भक्ष्य है।

Brock is found everywhere in India. 25-30 feet tall mound remains in the verandah of ponds and rivers of northern India. The upper part of its body is brown, armpit and stomach black and wide white strip on the forehead. There are five strong fingernails on each leg, which are used to dig the mound. It digs the dough from the next leg and throws the soil away with the legs. It eats grave by digging the grave with its strong eyes. Brock is lazy and walks at a slow pace. This is omnivorous. Its fruit is from its fruit origin to insect kites.
