इसका नाम ट्रेन 18 इसलिए रखा गया है क्योकि यह ट्रेन सन 2018 में शुरू की जा रही है |

This train has been named as 'Train 18' because this train is being introduced in 2018.

ट्रेन 18 की विशेषताएं (Train 18 Features)

• इस ट्रेन का निर्माण भारत सरकार के मेक इन इंडिया प्रोजेक्ट के अंतर्गत किया गया है, जिसे इंटीग्रल कोच फैक्ट्री (आईसीएफ) चेन्नई द्वारा 18 महीने की अवधि में डिजाईन एवं तैयार किया गया |
• This train has been built under the make-in-India project of the Government of India, which was designed and prepared by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai over a period of 18 months.

• इसकी अधिकतम रफ्तार 160 किलोमीटर प्रतिघंटा है, यह शताब्दी ट्रेन की तुलना में 15% तक समय की बचत कर सकती है |
• Its maximum speed is 160 kilometers per hour, it can save time up to 15% compared to the centenary train.

• इस ट्रेन के पहले रेक की यूनिट कॉस्ट 100 करोड़ रूपये यानि 14 मिलियन यूएस डॉलर है, हालाँकि यह कम भी हो सकती है. इसके अलावा यह अनुमान लगाया गया है, कि यूरोप से आयात होने वाली इसी तरह की ट्रेन की तुलना में यह 40 % तक कम है.
• The unit cost of the first rake of this train is Rs. 100 crores i.e. 14 million US dollars, although it may be less. Apart from this, it has been speculated that it is less than 40% compared to the same kind of train imported from Europe.

• इस ट्रेन में मल्टीलेवल लाइटिंग सिस्टम होगा, जोकि एयरक्राफ्ट के समान होगा. इसमें पहले की तुलना में 30% तक की बिजली की बचत की जा सकेगी
• This train will have a multilevel lighting system, which will be similar to the aircraft. It can save up to 30% of the power compared to earlier.

• ट्रेन 18 के दोनों छोर के एरोडायनामिक नर्रोविंग की तुलना जापान से आने वाली बुलेट ट्रेन से की जा रही है.
• The Aerodynamic Narrowing of both ends of Train 18 is being compared to a bullet train coming from Japan.

• इस ट्रेन के दोनों छोर पर एक ड्राईवर कोच होगा, एवं यह ट्रेन इंजनलेस ट्रेन है, इसलिए इसमें इंजन को बदलने का समय बचेगा.
• There will be a driver coach on both ends of this train, and this train is an engineless train, so it will save time for the engine to change.

• इस ट्रेन की बॉडी एल्युमिनियम एवं सीट कारें स्टील की बनी हुई है. ट्रेन इस तरह से बनाई गई कि यात्री ड्राईवर के केबिन को भी देख सकते हैं.
• Body of this train is made of aluminum and seat cars steel. Trains were created in such a way that the passenger could also see the driver's cabin.

• आंतरिक रूप से ट्रेन में प्रत्येक कोच में 16 यात्री कारें हैं, जिसमें कुल 1,128 यात्री एक बार में बैठकर यात्रा कर सकते हैं.
• Internally, there are 16 passenger cars in each coach in the train, in which a total of 1,128 passengers can travel in one sitting.

• बीच के डिब्बों में से दो प्रथम श्रेणी के डिब्बे हैं, जहाँ 52 यात्री बैठ सकते हैं, जबकि बाकी के कोच में 78 यात्री बैठ सकते हैं.
• There are two first class coaches in the middle of the coaches, where 52 passengers can sit, while the remaining coaches can accommodate 78 passengers.

• ट्रेन की सीटें, ब्रेकिंग सिस्टम, दरवाजे और ट्रांसफार्मर आदि आयात की जाने वाली ट्रेनों के एक मात्र एलेमेंट्स हैं. इसे अगली ट्रेन के उत्पादन पर घरेलू रूप से बनाने की योजना है.
• Train seats, breaking systems, doors and transformers etc. are the only elements of the trains to be imported. It is planned to make domestic production on the next train.

• यह ट्रेन पूरी तरह से एयर – कंडिशन्ड युक्त है. इसके साथ ही इसमें अक्षम लोगों के लिए अलग से टॉयलेट भी बनाये गये हैं.
• This train is fully air-conditioned. Apart from this, separate toilets have also been made for disabled people.

• ट्रेन में एयरक्राफ्ट की तरह टॉयलेट हैं, जिसमें कुशल फ्लशिंग के लिए जैव – वैक्यूम है. इसमें पानी की बचत हो सके इसके लिए टच – फ्री सेंसर – आधारित फिटिंग का उपयोग भी किया गया है.
• The train has toilets like aircraft, in which there is bio-vacuum for efficient flushing. Touch-free sensor-based fittings have also been used to save water in it.

• इस ट्रेन के प्रत्येक कोच में एक मिनी पैंट्री भी स्थापित है, जिसमे खाने को गरम एवं कोल्ड ड्रिंक्स और जूस को ठंडा रखने के लिए बेहतर अत्याधुनिक उपकरण होंगे.
• A mini pantry is also installed in every coach of this train, in which the food will be hot and cold drinks and better cutting-edge equipment to keep the juice cool.

• इसमें जो सीटें उपलब्ध हैं उसकी एक अनूठी विशेषता यह है, कि इसे 180 डिग्री रोटेड भी किया जा सकता है.
• A unique feature of the seats available in it is that it can also be 180 degree rotated.

• इस ट्रेन में अनियंत्रित वाईफाई और इंफोटेनमेंट सिस्टम भी शामिल होगा. प्रत्येक डिब्बे में जीपीएस – सक्षम यात्री सूचना प्रणाली भी होगी, जिसमे ट्रेन की गति, स्थान, डेस्टिनेशन तक पहुँचने का समय आदि शामिल होगा.
• This train will also include uncontrolled WiFi and Infotainment system. There will also be a GPS-enabled passenger information system in each box, including the speed of the train, location, time to reach destination etc.

ट्रेन 20 क्या है ? (What is Train 20)

इस ट्रेन को सन 2020 में शुरू किये जाने की योजना बनाई गई है. इसलिए इस ट्रेन का नाम ट्रेन 20 रखा गया है | यह ट्रेन भारत की दूसरी सबसे तेज चलने वाली ट्रेन राजधानी एक्सप्रेस का स्थान लेने वाली है |
This train has been planned to be introduced in 2020. Hence this train has been named Train 20. This train is going to replace Rajdhani Express, India's second fastest train.

ट्रेन 20 की विशेषताएं (Train 20 Features)

• इस ट्रेन की अधिकतर विशेषताएं एवं सुविधाएँ ट्रेन 18 के समान ही है. किन्तु इसकी कुछ अन्य विशेषताएं है जोकि इस प्रकार हैं –
• Most of the features and features of this train are similar to Train 18. But there are some other features that are as follows -
• ट्रेन 20 में 176 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की रफ्तार से चलने की क्षमता है |
• Train 20 has the ability to run at a speed of 176 kilometers per hour.
• इस ट्रेन में स्लीपर कोच होंगे, इसलिए इसे लंबी दूरी की यात्रा के लिए बनाया जा रहा है |
• This train will have sleeper coaches, so it is being made for long distance travel.
• इसमें प्रत्येक 20 कोच के 14 ट्रेन सेट एवं 11 अतिरिक्त कोच भी होंगे, कुल मिलाकर इसमें 291 कोच बनाये जायेंगे |
• There will be 14 train sets of every 20 coaches and 11 additional coaches, in total, 291 coaches will be made.
• इसमें बनाये जाने वाले स्लीपर कोच सभी प्रकार के होंगे जैसे एसी – फ़स्ट क्लास, एसी – द्वितीय क्लास और एसी – तृतीय क्लास आदि. ट्रेन सेट में 3 – फेज प्रोपल्शन सिस्टम और ऑटोमेटिक दरवाजें भी होंगे, जोकि ट्रेन 18 में भी दिए हुए हैं |
• There will be all types of sleeper coaches to be made, such as AC - First Class, AC - Second Class and AC - III Class etc. Train sets will also have 3-phase propulsion systems and automatic doors, which are also provided in Train 18.
